EmCare's physician screening and evaluation process helps to ensure our client hospitals comply with regulations and standards. Our program is one of the most rigorous and detailed in our field.
All new EmCare physicians complete an orientation program prior to beginning clinical shifts in the hospital. EmCare Inpatient Service’s orientation program acquaints physicians with the hospital and to his/her department. This may include “shadowing” a physician for a shift to understand the flow and process of the department and/or discussions with key service team members regarding issues at the hospital.
